- INTRODUCE THE GAME: Explain the three poses and their hierarchy:
Giant (raise arms above your head, roaring): beats Wizard.
Wizard (pretend to cast a spell, shouting “Alakazam!”): beats Goblin.
Goblin (crouch down with claws out, making a high pitched, memememe): beats Giant.
Emphasise that if participants choose the same pose, they must immediately repeat until
one wins. - SET UP THE LINE-UP: Arrange all participants into pairs and have them face each other in a line with the other pairs, you decide which end of the line is the top and the bottom.
The top position is for the current winner, and the bottom is for the current lowest rank. - BEGIN THE GAME: Explain that after the count of three “POSE” will be called, everyone must
simultaneously choose either a Goblin, Wizard or Giant and do the pose of their chosen character.
The winner of each pair moves up one rank in the ladder, and the loser moves down one. - REPEAT FACE-OFFS: If in the pair they both chose the same pose then quickly redo do the round until there is a winner.
- FINAL PLAYOFF: After five or six rounds, the top two participants play for first and second place. Optionally, you can do a play off for the other positions in the ladder.
