Welcome to The Drama Teaching Emporium, operated by Quint-Essential Creations SCP (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital products, and membership services (including recurring subscriptions), and form a legally binding contract between you and us. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
In these Terms:
“You”, “your” means the individual or entity accessing or using the Services.
“Digital Resources” means downloadable or online materials such as scripts, games, exercises, worksheets, videos, lesson aids, and related content.
“Membership” refers to access granted through purchase of a subscription plan (Yearly or Lifetime) via our Members’ Area.
“MemberPress” refers to the platform used to manage memberships.
“Membership Fees” refers to subscription fees (recurring or one-off) collected in exchange for Membership access.
“Acting for Camera” refers to the department of resources focused on screen performance, which we are introducing and continuing to develop.
“Performance Licence Policy” refers to the separate policy governing how scripts may be performed and any associated rights.
“Force Majeure Event” means an event outside our reasonable control (e.g., natural disaster, technical failures).
We offer access to our digital resources through the following membership options:
Lifetime Membership – a one-off payment providing ongoing access to the Emporium for the lifetime of the platform.
Yearly Membership – a recurring subscription billed annually, providing access while the membership remains active.
Memberships provide access to a members-only area containing digital resources, which may include games, exercises, scripts, worksheets, lesson aids, videos, and other educational materials.
Membership access is granted only to the account holder and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.
Access to content depends on the type of membership purchased:
Lifetime Members receive ongoing access to the content included within the Emporium at the time of purchase and, unless otherwise stated, future content added to the platform.
Yearly Members receive access to content while their subscription remains active and in good standing.
We reserve the right to update, reorganise, add to, or remove content within the Emporium as part of ongoing development and improvement of the platform.
From time to time, we may introduce new content areas or departments (such as Acting for Camera).
Where stated, Lifetime Memberships may include access to future content areas added to the Emporium at no additional cost.
Yearly Memberships provide access to available content while the subscription remains active.
The availability, scope, and structure of new content areas may evolve over time.
Yearly Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
By purchasing a Yearly Membership, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fee to your chosen payment method at each renewal.
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your MemberPress account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Lifetime Memberships are non-cancellable once access has been granted.
Yearly Memberships may be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the paid subscription period.
No partial refunds are provided for unused time following cancellation unless required by law.
After completing your purchase, you will be required to create an account in our Members’ Area. Login details and access instructions will be provided by email at the time of purchase.
Once your account is set up, you will be granted access to digital resources according to the membership type purchased:
Lifetime Members receive ongoing access to the Emporium for the lifetime of the platform.
Yearly Members receive access to the Emporium while their subscription remains active.
Digital resources are made available through the Members’ Area, where they may be viewed online or downloaded, depending on the resource type.
Access to the Members’ Area and associated resources is provided for as long as The Drama Teaching Emporium continues to operate the platform. In the unlikely event that the service is discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to notify members in advance and, where possible, provide alternative access to purchased content.
If you experience any issues accessing your account or resources, please contact us at info@thedramaemporium.com
All content available on The Drama Teaching Emporium website and within the Members’ Area — including but not limited to scripts, games, exercises, videos, worksheets, lesson aids, handouts, and other digital materials — is the intellectual property of The Drama Teaching Emporium (Quint-Essential Creations SCP), unless otherwise stated.
Purchase of a Membership does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property. Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for educational and personal teaching purposes only, subject to the terms of their membership.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, sold, sublicensed, or otherwise made available to third parties without prior written permission, except where explicitly permitted under a separate licence or policy.
Scripts included within the Emporium are subject to our Performance Licence Policy, which outlines permitted use for educational and unpaid performances while membership remains active.
Access to content for Yearly Members is conditional upon an active subscription. Lifetime Members retain access for the lifetime of the platform, subject to these Terms.
We reserve the right to protect our intellectual property and take appropriate action in the event of unauthorised use.
Some content available within The Drama Teaching Emporium is informed by widely recognised and long-standing practices, techniques, and traditions in drama education that have been shared and developed within the global teaching and theatre community over time.
While such practices themselves may not be subject to exclusive ownership, all materials provided through the Emporium — including the selection, structure, presentation, written explanations, video demonstrations, and accompanying resources — are original works created by us and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
We do not claim ownership over historical or commonly taught drama techniques; however, the specific content, resources, and materials as presented within the Emporium may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission, except as permitted under these Terms.
We love seeing how our resources are used in classrooms and drama spaces, and you’re welcome to share your experience using Emporium games, exercises, and scripts on social media or in promotional materials, provided that:
You may:
Mention or reference The Drama Teaching Emporium and tag @thedramaemporium
Share photos or short video clips of students engaging with activities (without revealing the content itself)
Mention the names of games, exercises, or scripts used
Share reflections, outcomes, or teaching experiences
You may not:
Upload, share, or distribute full or partial versions of paid resources
Post full scripts, exercises, or games publicly
Share screenshots, PDFs, or copied text from the Members’ Area
Use our content without appropriate credit
If you are unsure whether your intended use is permitted, please contact us before sharing.
Due to the digital nature of our products and services, refunds are handled as follows.
By purchasing a Membership and accessing digital content through the Members’ Area, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to digital content.
In accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations, this means that once access to the Members’ Area has been granted, you waive your statutory right to a cooling-off period and are not entitled to a refund, except where required by law.
Lifetime Memberships are provided in exchange for a one-off payment and grant ongoing access to the Emporium for the lifetime of the platform.
Due to the immediate access granted upon purchase, Lifetime Memberships are non-refundable once access has been provided.
Yearly Memberships are billed on a recurring annual basis and renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
You may cancel a Yearly Membership at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and access will continue until that time.
No refunds or partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period unless required by law.
We may, at our discretion, offer a refund or partial refund in exceptional circumstances, such as where access to the platform is materially unavailable due to a technical issue caused by us.
Any such refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis and do not constitute a waiver of this policy.
Where a refund may be considered under Section 5.4, you may contact us at info@thedramaemporium.com within 14 days of purchase, providing proof of payment and a description of the issue.
Any refunds granted at our discretion will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Ensure you have the necessary software or hardware to access and use the digital resources (e.g. PDF readers, video players).
Securely store downloaded files for personal educational use only and do not share, distribute, or make them accessible to any unauthorised third party.
Our games, exercises, and activities are provided for educational and training purposes only. They are intended as guidance and inspiration for drama teaching and learning.
You are responsible for assessing the suitability of any activity for your participants, environment, and circumstances, including appropriate supervision, safeguarding, and health and safety considerations.
We do not provide professional, medical, or safety advice, and participation in any activity is undertaken at the discretion of the user.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy, quality, and availability of our digital resources. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for technical issues beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to device compatibility, software issues, or internet connectivity.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, our website, Members’ Area, or digital resources.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify, update, reorganise, add to, or discontinue any digital resource or content area within the Emporium, as well as to update pricing for memberships or services, at any time.
Changes to resources or pricing will not affect existing Lifetime Memberships or the current billing period of active Yearly Memberships.
Any changes to pricing for Yearly Memberships will apply only to future renewal periods and will not be applied retrospectively.
